It does get cold in Northern CA. We had fog the last few days that eventually burns off but this day it lasted all morning while painting. It was cold so a quick painting was done in about 2 hours. One problem was that nothing would dry after I soaked my 140lb Arches paper. I waited and I waved it and when I could not wait longer, I kept painting. It might have been just right, as things were fuzzy and thinly painted. When I got it home, I was surprised at how true it was to the kind of day.

Foggy Day on Putah Creek
It does get cold in Northern CA. We had fog the last few days that eventually burns off but this day it lasted all morning while painting. It was cold so a quick painting was done in about 2 hours.
